Ben Farr
Ben Farr has served with Saddleback Church's junior high ministry for the past 3 years. So, Ben knows kids and how important it is that their parents are involved with the spiritual lives of their children. Ben has been married to his wife Stacey for three years and is serving as our webmaster.
Holly McGee
Holly McGee is married to Robert and loves being a mom to her kids, Silas and Ruby. She is thrilled to be a part of the Family Small Group team. Previously, Holly spent five years with Saddleback Church, Lake Forest, CA as the Childrens Discipleship and Small Groups Director, where she was a part of helping kids grow and mature in their faith. She also wrote the discipleship curriculum for Kids Small Groups that Saddleback still uses today. She has her BA from Moody Bible Institute and her MA in Educational Leadership from Golden Gate. Holly knows that the FSG concept works. When she was a child, her parents (Rick and Diane Bradford) included her in their small groups. She is thrilled to do same with her kids today!
Rick Bradford
Rick Bradford was a pastor on staff with Saddleback Church, Lake Forest, CA for seven years in their small group ministry. It was in this role that the idea to enable families to stay together for Bible study was born. Hundreds of Saddleback families have participated in them and Rick has taught workshops on Family small groups in numerous conferences. Rick is still with Saddleback but is now the pastor for their Laguna Woods, CA campus. Rick says, "I love family small groups. It is how we raised our kids and they still talk about the good times we had over the years. I long for others to have that same experience." Both daughters are now grown and love the Lord and are married to men who love the Lord.
This desire to help families is how familysmallgroups.com was born. He and his daughter Holly McGee wanted to make leading such a group VERY easy. We have designed familysmallgroups.com to be a site for the entire family. You can use our worship resources to provide video, music, and lyrics for your family small groups. There is even a game section for kids where children can have fun safely on the internet. However, the study guides are the most important part of what we offer. There is so little available for families to study the Bible together and almost nothing for more multiple families. Usually, what you find is adult material with a small kids section. Our study guides are written for each age to benefit and learn together from Gods Word. You are in for a great family adventure! Rick has an MDiv. from Talbot Theological Seminary in La Mirada, CA and has been in small groups for over 35 years. He has also helped plant four churches. He has been married to his wife Diane for over 40 years.
Rob McGee
Robert McGee is passionate about ministry for families. He received his BA at Moody Bible Institute and then his MDiv at Golden Gate Seminary. His experience in working with youth, leading small groups, and building relational ministries provides a valuable asset to the FSG team. His most important work is in guiding his own children, Silas and Ruby, towards understanding God's Word. He and his wife, Holly, create, write, and edit the Family Small Group material.
Richard Schneider
Richard Schneider is a father, businessman, and Saddleback Church small group leader. He has been married to wife Linda for 40 years with four grown children. It was all these factors that God used for Richard to see the importance of children learning the things of the Lord from their parents and not just their church. Richard is serving as our COO.
